Describe Yourself:

Home-body, skeptical concerning organized religion, helpful and agreeable at best, passive-aggressive at worst. I admire people who keep a low profile and live within their means. I'm a proponent of the concept of universal salvation or reconciliation. Thus all humanity shares the same Fate, and I have no reason to put myself above or below anyone else. Universal salvation is better, I think, than any belief system that claims eternal hell for some people. After all, the damned might include me or some of my loved ones, and I don't like that thought!

a means to explore and debate ideas as clearly as I can in writing.

Interests

Favorite Music, Artists, Genres:

Classical, but selective. The best and the worst music, in my opinion, is found in this genre. I especially like Bach and Beethoven. Also many Argentine tangos, some pop music, and many of my own compositions.
Favorite Movies, Actors, Genres:

Treasure of the Sierra Madre (Humphrey Bogart), Men in Black (great comedic and thoughtful spoof of UFOs and the idea of extraterrestrials), King's Speech, Clueless, Pride and Prejudice (BBC series) and Sense and Sensibility (with Alan Rickman), Pirates of the Caribbean series of movies.
Favorite TV Shows, Actors:

Tommy Lee Jones as Agent K in Men in Black (1, 2, and 3) -- you know what I mean?
Favorite Places:

Williamsburg, VA -- Bike almost everywhere. Shop for one or maybe two days at a time. Not too small to have good restaurants and cultural events and good movie houses, but not large enough to have traffic jams.
Interests and Activities:

Philosophy of religion, science, walking pet doggies, music, biking. I like to throw and try to catch a boomerang, from my days playing baseball.
Wish List:

Universal salvation to take place now. Might as well wish for the big one.
